About CrewMonk

Trade work earns trust the same way it always has — on the job.

CrewMonk is the dispatch board for skilled trades. We match the right verification to the right job, run escrow on every booking, and put the worker's reputation back in the worker's hands.

Why we built it

The current job-board model treats every trade hire as a leap of faith. The skilled tradesperson has earned credentials that nobody on the customer's side can verify. The customer is gambling on a name. CrewMonk closes that gap with a six-tier trust ladder: from a fast-match helper for routine work, all the way up to a fully background-checked, licensed, and insured pro for jobs that demand it. Employers pick the tier per shift. Workers earn the next tier when they're ready.

How verification works

Identity through Persona. Background through Checkr. Trade licenses validated against state registries. Insurance Certificates of Insurance uploaded and watched for expiry. Worker references called and confirmed. Each piece is independently verifiable; together they form the trust profile that travels with the worker across every job they take.

Where we operate

Southern California first. We launched here because the density of licensed-trade work and the diversity of small-business hiring patterns make it the right pressure-test for the trust ladder.

A small team that's worked in skilled-trades dispatch on one side and in fintech infrastructure on the other. We hate paperwork and we hate gambling on a name.
